Privacy Policy

Last updated 8 August 2026

KindCue has no accounts, no login, and no newsletter. It does not ask you for anything, so there is almost nothing here to collect. This page says exactly what the small remainder is.

1. Who this is

KindCue is an independent project publishing short wellness reminders on social platforms, operated by Gancho Iliev, United Kingdom. Contact: hello@kindcue.app.

2. What kindcue.app collects

The website is a single static page. It has no cookies, no login, no forms, and no third-party advertising or tracking scripts.

It uses Vercel Web Analytics, which records aggregate, anonymised page views and one custom event when a visitor clicks through to a social profile. This is measured in aggregate and is not used to build a profile of you.

Fonts load from the Fontshare CDN. That request carries your IP address to Fontshare in the normal course of serving a file.

3. What the KindCue analytics tool collects

KindCue runs a private, internal tool that measures how its own posts perform, so it can make better ones. Understanding this section is the point of this page.

What it reads

Using the official APIs of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and Threads, and only for accounts KindCue itself owns and has authorised, it reads:

What it does not read It does not access, request, or store the identity of any viewer or follower. It does not read individual follower lists, direct messages, comment authors, private content, or any data belonging to another person's account. Every figure it handles is a count, not a person.

Why

Solely to decide what KindCue should post next: which topics, formats and lengths hold attention. It is content research on our own output.

Where it is stored, and for how long

In a private, access-controlled database operated for this project alone. It is not published, not shared with third parties, and not used for advertising, profiling, or any automated decision affecting any individual. Aggregate statistics are retained while the project runs and deleted when it ends or when access is revoked, whichever is first.

Revoking access

Access is granted by KindCue to its own accounts and can be withdrawn at any time from the security or connected-apps settings of the relevant platform. Withdrawal stops all future collection immediately.

4. Legal basis (UK GDPR)

Where any of the above constitutes personal data, the basis is legitimate interest in understanding the performance of our own published content, balanced against the fact that no individual is identified at any stage.

5. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of personal data we hold about you, and object to processing. Because we hold no identifiable personal data, most requests will be answered by confirming that. Email hello@kindcue.app and we will respond within 30 days.

You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

6. Children

KindCue is not directed at children under 13 and knowingly collects no data from them.

7. Changes

Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page. There is no mailing list to notify, by design.
